Classic Fantasy

It doesn't get much sweeter from here
I want to create something struggled through tears
If it doesn't kill us, then we're better, we're better

Life is no storybook anymore
Just believe you are beautiful, like the rest of the world
And we'll make it out alive, and fine

I feel so in the dark these days
It makes no difference when I'm built of shame
But if I forget about you, remind me, cause I'm nothing without you

And when I'm lying there, watching life go by
I'll make sure it's worth watching, without having to try
Cause it's all a faze, but a part of your faith

And one day, you'll bring yourself out
Of this dirty world, this bitter town
You'll be changed, we'll all be changed

And the person you became all the while
Is sitting right next to you, watching you smile
So be yourself, let it out, watch yourself live it out

Time kills such a classic fantasy
One that finds a person who's willing to believe
It takes conviction, opinions, selfless ease

If it takes conviction, opinions, I'm willing to believe
If it takes stinging, troublesome time, never to be seen
I will believe, in my own classic fantasy
