Treasured Friendship

My life has been a living hell
Yet you keep me hanging on
With the use of threads you made
When our friendship has grown.

You are the one who keep me strong
Through the times, everyone turned their backs
Without knowing, if it would take for so long.

I owe everything to you.
You saved my life more than once.
You don't know it but it's true
For you're the ones who let me realize,
That life can be full of delight.

Back then, I used to end up hurt
Of the friends I thought I had
That I made a vow to never trust
Anyone ever again in my wrecked life.
But you know, to tell you the truth
You got the key that opens my heart.

Gullible is what really I am
But could you please promise me
That I am not wrong
In choosing my decision this time?

Even though I'm lacking for words
No one can stop me to thank you.
I guess only me could tell
"It will hurt once you're gone".

Our friendship is not by chance
Instead, our own decision.
Even though each single day,
It wilts away, we drift apart
Memories will always be remembered.

Friendship is undefined
Yet, being with you,I have known it
Little by little, one by one.
Friendship is something
We should treasure
Share, value with others.
Something must be kept
Not just in a treasure chest
