Jasmine Night

by NightFlyer   Jul 5, 2008

Jasmine Night

Through velvet clouds of the serpentine evening

We walk on rays of starlight

The cloudy patterns of winter solstice

Drawing us on, 'neath Orion's guiding arms

Precious jasmine scent

Sweet intoxication of the night

'Neath a malachite sky

The Sassanid monarch of the midnight heavens

Wearing the golden crown of the Moon

Watches silently over flickering stars

And fleecy clouds

The grass swaying to the magical scent of this jasmine night.

Thank you, TJ. Glad you liked it. This was inspired by a walk I took at night with the scent of jasmine in the air.
