Pass By

by brie kelly wise   Jul 7, 2008

As twisted as it sounds, I'm counting on you again
How am I doing this wrong?
All they ever say is they knew it all along
It seems betrayal is the newest trend
All I ever wanted to do was fall in love with you
Theres something haunting about the way you speak
The way you walk, the way you think, the way you lie

Im looking to you for help this time around
I'm sure you know how to breathe in these situations
I guess I didn't see this coming, I confess it all
But they say I set myself up for every single cut
All I ever wanted to do was fall for you every night
I miss the way you do things, the way you fake things
The way you brush everything off and let it pass you by

I get the picture, I'll leave you alone this time
I just want to know how to handle this
It just happened and now I'm a little lost
I know I set myself up in this messed up sort of way
All I ever wanted to do was fall for you over and over again
I miss everything about you, the mistakes you made, how you let it all go
Just one more thing, could you please teach me how to let it just pass me by
