Father you are wrong

by Erick   Jul 7, 2008

So I'm an addict,
Someone dumb.
I guess always on something,
always looking spun.

I can't recall things,
Dumber then I sound.
I guess an idiot,
Doing drugs I'm always found.

Never good enough,
A loser not to mention.
Remember when you told me that?
What was your intention?

That was painful,
More then a black eye would do.
All caused by a single word,
Yes father by you.

All because I refused football,
Something i don't care about.
You said I'd become popular,
All Without a doubt.

So I'm not popular?
A geek is what you meant.
Someone with no friends,
Is that what you meant?

You really don't know me,
Or know what I'm about.
And to me it doesn't matter,
But I'm really popular, no doubt.

Now a drug addict?
Ha, truly your not right.
I guess you picture me different,
A complete different sight.

You don't have,
Anything positive to say.
Negative thoughts surround you,
All day every day.

Now I'm praying,
For what I said is wrong.
Positively of me I want you to think,
And think that I'm strong.

I guess I'll wrap this up,
And finish my little song.
No drug addict or loser,
Father you are wrong....
