Death Stole Away His Breath

by WiltingWallFlower   Jul 7, 2008

Tossing and turning
Another sleepess night
Three days with out sleep
No end in sight

It's always on my mind
The words I didn't say
I should've said them
Every single day.

This isn't right
Not close to fair
I'd give anything
To be with him there.

Don't tell me he's fine
Don't lie to my face
Don't try to give comfort
Don't say he's in a better place.

He was more than a lover
He was my best friend
A love like his
I'll never find again.

Why did you leave me
All alone in the world
You swore you'd never leave
That I'd always be your girl.

Death stole away your life
But I still have your heart
One day I'll see you again
Nothing could keep us apart.
