Perfection

by Ralfy   Jul 7, 2008

Oh perfection look what you have done to us.

You have become our way of life

Our way of meaning

Our way of right.

So ideal in our eyes

Perfection embedded in our mind.

We see now in your aftermath

How immoral you have made us become.

No pride in who we are only envy for

Dear Perfection.

Orright dude, seriously a cool insight. The flip side to the search for perfection is the inevitable process of narrowing down one's options. When we become certain that "this is the only way" we can miss out on a whole lot of variety- when taken in the grand scale of an entire life, that which is known as "the scenic route". The individual gets lost in the whole mechanistic process of a thoroughly logical existence.
Or something like that. Anyway, I like the poem.

    I absolutely love this...
    its incredibly true..
    because we all chase perfection.
    And we never get it.
5/5 this is a very good poem.
