She's always Pretending.

by Hannah Heroine   Jul 7, 2008

Love decaying, resentment growing,
tasteless lies and sparkling eyes,
Murder me with your smile....
What once was lust, forever shadowed by guilt.
Swallowing her whole, her glowing eyes have gone cold.
You bent her until she broke.
Now she's lying on the floor in pieces, tiny fragments of a wonderful lie....
She doesn't care to be put back together, she was never alive inside....
She played pretend for you.
She didn't want to ever see you sad, the faintest hint of a frown.
So she consumed what ever you gave.. the lies, the guilt...the sorrow.
Nothing to say... always okay.
She pretends....that you never threw her away.
