Orchid Lady, I wish I could close my eyes and find myself at your side for I need you so much.
No matter where I travel; be asleep in my dreams or lie wide awake; you are beside me
I feel as though I could hold out my hand and I would feel your fingers embrace my own
When alone, I think of you and a magical feeling opens my heart and makes it beat with love
How I long to feel the softness of your body and sheer excitement as your breath caresses my face.
Sweetheart, I have written you scores of poems yet I have missed expressing myself properly -
- somehow I haven't quite found the words of love to emblazon your heart in the way I want to
To say I love you is simply ubiquitous; yes it is commonplace, but you are my rare beautiful orchid

As I look out glassed windows the winter rain is running down them like an incessant waterfall
