In control

by BornAgainWriter   Jul 8, 2008

Baby I told you once before,
You know when I first say you,
And when you first saw me,
I don't want to be hurt anymore.

You promised me to never hurt,
To never stab me deeply in my heart,
But you did and you know it too,
And you know that my blood would spurt.

I can't believe I let you in my soul,
I let you toy with my sweet emotions,
And, I've learned my lesson this time,
And now it's my game I'm in control.

Boy, let me do those things for you,
That I some how let you do for me,
I will be so nice to you-never argue,
Because I do love you, so much boo.

You tore me apart piece by piece,
Laid me flat and just cut me open,
Can't I live some more?
I just want to release; live in peace.
