Insanity's sweet embrace ((Click. Clack.))

by StandStill   Jul 8, 2008

The click clack of heels upon empty streets,
echoing as though through twisting corridors.
Click. Clack. Click. Clack. Click...
Unsure if I can take it anymore.

Each step breaks a thousand times upon my frustrated ears,
screaming of the aloneness, sans the mute ghost companions.
Shadows of an exsitance once withheld by me,
rose petals blowing on the wind like bullets of a gun.

Another reverberrated scream across these empty windows,
staring nothings into a space of undefined proportion.
Insanity's sweet embrace upon my tender lips;
domino effect set into slow-paced motion.

Click. Clack. Click...

**ha. tonight's theme apparently is insanity. :P**

    Lol. Obviously. Gabby, this was a great poem. I loved it. The title, once again was awesome. You do come up with pretty original titles. I love it.
