Run a little faster ((til your feet don't touch the ground))

by StandStill   Jul 8, 2008

Every melody pumps through ears,
pulsing out heartbeat's song.
Feet slam a little harder now,
trying to sing along.

Precussion matches strums of feet,
too-fast on the gravel path.
Run a little faster, sing a little louder,
'cuz now there's no looking back.

We can run so fast that we take off,
we'll fly to the moon and the stars.
Just a personal playground of makebelieve.
Close your eyes, make a wish, and there you are.

Come on, take my hand, and we'll fly away.
Singing love songs at the tops of our voice.
Keep your eyes on the stars and never look back.
We're getting lost in the music's noise.
