Candle Light

by Tatiana Ray   Jul 9, 2008

My room so empty it darkens the path,
for I cannot see a light.
I lit up a candle only to see that there was some looking striate back at me.

Long thick black hair,
eyes with no fear,
staring back into the window,
it seemed like a thousand years.
I could feel her pain,
as if we had the same eyes,
filled with sadness, agony, and sorrowful cries.

She said a few thangs that I could not doubt,
with a weak smile she said,

With a soul so bright,
why should you use a candle light,
and the flame blew out.
