Death's Ears

Deaths Ears

She walks into a room with nothing but people faceless
What they were doing there, she could only guess
Her body trembles as she walks on
Her heart beating loudly in the place where sounds are otherwise gone

Taking a deep breath,
Her body relaxes as if in death
She moves forward
Facing him, her face is toward

NO, she cries out,
Her face soon forms a pout
The gun travels to his head
Soon there would be nothing but red

She screams again on deaths ears
Drops leaking from her eyes in her fears
Her body seizes as he pulls the trigger
The whole thing seems like it should be bigger

He falls to the floor
She realizes he will breathe no more
She lands at his side and cries
Tears travel down her face, her not bothering to put up a guise
