The shadows are coming
time is turning
yet I'm still living
why id that.

I've seen the devil
I've been through hell
yet I can't see
why I'm here.

The shadows taunt
as I curl up
trying to find my place
in this lonely world.

I look above
and I look below
yet no one sees me
as I sit and cry.

Why must I be lonely
why must I hurt inside
why must I cry
and why can't I die.

Why am I sentenced
to this hell
where shadows dwell
and angels reign.

Can I not pass on
can I not be happy
the pain is there
yet I can not pass.
