I turned on the computer
and opened MSN
How excited I was
He was online
We small talk for a bit
Sharing laughs and cries
And finally he asks me
If I wanna hang out
Excited and bewildered
I answer yes immediately
And we made plans
For saturday
The black car he'd described
pulls up in the driveway
"That's my ride, don't wait up"
I shouted to mom
I walk out to the car
And rush to get in
And as i stopped to truly look at him i realized
I'd never see mom again
