Excellent poem. People are living a hectic life nowdays. Specially in big cities.. Life is running from morning till late night.. Work, meetings, appointments, dates with your friend.. Your parents are phoning just when you are crossing the street with 2 bags on her hand and seeing finally your friend you didn't see for 2 months..

And you return home...You discover unwashed dishes on the table...laundry is still waiting for you... You have not been home even 2 hours so you could have done that..

You open your laptop to check mails...and same time skype is automatically logging you in.. You should go in 15 minutes and brother is calling you from skype..

You go to bed at 2 am and you should get up 5...You tell yourself "sleep"...

    And another morning comes... *laughing*

A nice poem I can relate.

Ah, I liked this a lot. It's true -- people are too busy with their lives, schedules and things to think about the little things that matter the most. I really like your word choice in this piece. But, again, I feel like you should put a period on the end of the fourth line in each stanza if you do it once. However, it is still a good piece.

That was really interesting n wonderful too..

I ask myself after reading this poem... how we humans forget or get attached n occupied in sum things that we almost forget or neglect or ignore till we loose them finally n our eyes r opened n we finally cry d tears of realization when all is over ....

or like u said... d time we realize things we r at a deadend... or when life has finally ended...

It was meaningful... loved it dear friend...

Keep writing n sharing wonderful poems as such....

    Best wishes..

Amazing as all your other poems.
I work for almost 12 hrs everyday & do know the meaning of meeting deadline and all the targets and stuff like that, we surely do miss a lot in between & may regret later on but then thats how life goes. Still a great message, lovely poem

all the best and take care

Perfect! I was feeling this way just this morning! Life is so hectic and people are frenzied, so they don't enjoy life as much as they should. Life literally will just pass you by if you let it. This poem was great and inspiring.

I really love this poem. It has so much of meaning and gives even more depth to life as we're so caught up working or studying or in some sort of busy routine we never once stop to realise the moment that we're living in.

The flow and the words seemed so perfect in that they conveyed exactly what you wanted to say. Amazing poem that deserves no less than 100/5.

An excellently descriptive poem. I especially like the first line, the way you describe the raindrops hitting and splashing on the windscreen - just like they are dancing, tiny drops of rain going mad to the music - great image.

Of course the poem has a sober tone to it, the importance of making time for the people you care about. WE only have one life, so make time before it runs out on us, tick , tock!

    A good write

Sometimes people get so busy in their everyday life that they don't take the time to remember the small things.
    Nice message :)

This is a great piece of poetry. I can definitely relate. I go to college and during school time it's so hard to find time for anyone else. It's hard to take a break and it gets frustrating and stressful. But during the school breaks I try to make time for everyone and sometimes they can't make the time so it's a vicious cycle.

I loved the part of scurrying to work, unnoticed bright smiles, and not being able to schedule in trivial fun. It was right on point and so truthful! 5/5!

You successfully captured all the hustle and bustle of life with a wonderful message. We do overlook nature and people we care about while scurrying hither tither in things which hardly matters. For we all know families and friends make the world go round. Will it be long before we realize life ceased before it even began???Wonderful write.

Wonderful poem with a strong message. We do tend to overlook nature, families and friends while scurrying hither tither for things which hardly matters. While neglecting that makes the world go round.
