Behind His Smile

by Jenni Marie   Jul 9, 2008

So foolishly blind, never wanted to see
Now naivety has only left me with misery
Living in denial, unaware of countless games
Declaring that they will, but things never change

here we go again, once more we're on repeat
Clearly for you, lying is such an easy feat
Once again falling easily so into your arms
Again fooled me with your snake like charm

Heart lonely, crying out; head all over the place
Strange combination-love mixed with distaste
Be better of alone, but can't live without you
What happened to love that we used to value?

Know way deep down yet don't want to admit
No matter how much I love you, you can't commit
Found a new best friend, goes by the name Denial
You're hiding your lies behind your {honest} smile
