Silence

by Invited   Jul 9, 2008

Why is the silence so deadly
And companionable wind move swiftly
Whilst I cry mercifully.
Why is the silence so deadly?

Why is the silence so eerie
That I ask myself merely
For the silence is so sickly.
That. Why is the silence so eerie?

Why is the silence so deathening
Yet its still mimicking-
Itself. So frightening.
Why is the silence so deathening?

Why is the silence reveling
In the boxed air.Selling-
Itself whole to the quitting
Breaking its silence and asking.
Why is the silence reveling?

This is a very good poem, I can relate to it so well. It seems that sometimes the silence can be so strong it can almost have an echo of its own that only magnifies the emptiness of your surroundings. --- very good description of a unique concept --5/5...JIM
