Trail of Kisses

by WiltingWallFlower   Jul 9, 2008

Sweet kisses
Reminding me he loves me
He thinks I'm beautiful
That no flaws he does see

Tender kisses
Tell me he wants to hold on
He wants me forever
How he hates when I'm gone

Passionate kisses
While clothes are being shed
He sees all the mistakes I made
This is the part I dread

No kisses
Just his hand on scarred skin
He asks "Why?"
A long story I begin

Sad kisses
He whispers "I love you"
Wipes a tear from my face
As I whisper "I love you too"

Soft kisses
On skin not warm lips
Kissing every scar
I've never felt like this

Deep kisses
All around my neck
Soft moans pierce silence
This moment I'll never forget

Good night kisses
After we've both had our fill
Breathing steadies he drifts to sleep
With his arm around me still

I absolutely love this poem. It is so passionate! My girlfriend would love it too... I'll show it to her! :-p It's just like us haha

I love how you used different types of kisses comparing them with different emotions and meanings... too many people just think there is only one type of kiss and it means the same thing every time. I'm glad it's not just me that feels they communicate much more than that haha

Oh, the first stanza I would change. I have no idea how I would do it... its just a bit rough

    Sweet kisses
    Reminding me he loves me
    He thinks I'm beautiful
That no flaws he does see

^^just the last like "That no flaws he does see" Thats a bit shaky. Other than that it's beautiful!

    Keep writing! 5/5
