Just Another Summer Poem

by StandStill   Jul 10, 2008

These speakers are blown, so everything sounds off
kinda like these hot summer days
where everything is melting and evaporating
swimming in shades of darker greys.

Puzzles pieces and sunglasses,
just trying to lighten up this darker side.
Sure, the grass is always greener...
but green as green means it dies.

Water flies all around,
sweet sweat mingles with the moment's nonchalance.
Bubbles burst from tired mouths
as we enter "summer romance".
