Silence

by Indian Comma Bean   Jul 10, 2008

Silence beholds the gift of truth,
Tells no words nor tainted thought.
Without a fist to raise is muted voice,
Silence waits; Only reassuring those who request.

It is both the harbinger of relief,
And the herald of misery.
Knowing only that silence is a prophet,
Its quiet resolve is taken to interpretation.

Countless hours it is spent behind our lives,
Only exposing our bloodied, blatant lies.
For silence never dies; It is only broken.
Shattered solely through our voice.

We all can make a difference...

Returning the favor. I really like it, very 'educated.' Lol. It's the best word I could describe it with. You are a very good poet. I would read your writing anyday. =D
