Rhythms of Speech

by Michael D Nalley   Jul 10, 2008

Rhythms of speech, rhythms of the heart
Synthesis of the mind, and spirit of the art
Race around the world like the bright sun
Is truth at center after all is said and done?

The order of the day is naturally selected
Disorder and chaos are spiritually rejected
Where it rules only the fittest will survive
In time only the strongest will be alive

Time measured by rhythms and rhymes
Seasons will roll along with the times
The teacher will pass, the student will teach
In the timeless endless rhythms of speech

Succinct, clear, cool and crisp. Profound, inviting, hard to resist. Rythym, cadence, rolling in time. All fit together with tailor-made ryhmes.

I like how your poems are so realistic, they put the found picture in your head. And how you add so much detail to your writing is inspirational. You are a very good writer.

I love that line. Maybe it's because my mom is a principal. lol I love how your poems always have a spiritual undertones. Dunno if that's really what I should call it, but I think you know what I mean. I really enjoyed reading this.
