I liked it. I thought that it showed someone's passion and hope in very few words.

I read a book called, 'The Kite Runner' a few weeks ago. This poem sort of reminded me of that book. Now, back to your poem - I thought that it was good, but not as great as it could have been. The emotion was there, but it was a bit too simple for my liking.

This is wonderful write... brilliantly portrayed... short straight and superb... i am really glad that you chose this subject to write on..

    good word choice...

    "Broken lives
    Faded dreams"

^^ if only something could be done for all those innocent children on street...

"Why must our sons mistrust their own?
    Fractured values
    Shattered unity"

    ^^ so well described...

    keep writing...

I really liked that but those last
    three lines caught my attention

Just look to the west, you can see
    Peace
    An eternity.

    I Love that

Very short but it says all it needs to say, really brings an image of someone dreaming about what is out there beyond their boarders. keep writing and well done! loved it.
