Once upon a time ((today))

There was a once upon a time,
a story I'm not so sure you know.
When a Lamb was born and slain,
from whom all of time flows.

This once upon a time,
He came to forgive your sins.
Born from a virgin, died on a cross,
this place where HIStory begins.

Now all the world is singing,
praising Him above.
All because He cared enough;
all because us, He loved.

There's a reason for redemption,
from which comes every rhyme.
Jesus came and died for us,
so that we could have a once upon a time.
