Razorblade Conversation

by SilentSuicide   Jul 11, 2008

"Well well looks who's back for more"

~I'm throwing you out~

"now how can you do that? i control you"

~You control nothing; i can fight this.~

"your lust for me is powerful
more than the demons that rest inside you
how do you expect to prevail
your nothing without me"

~I can do anything~

"you will fail at everything"

~Your wrong!~

"look at your past
I'm written all over your body
you cannot escape me"

~I can run~

"but you cannot hide"

~your dead to me now~

"your dead without me"

~stop this; let me be!~

"Feel the pain swelling inside you
the agony
filled with sweat dripping down your neck.
creeping up your spine
to haunt your every waking moment;
you need me
you could never fight your misery without inflicting that same misery upon yourself
your blood is your cure
your screams
music to my ears."

~shut up!
get out of my head!
you've done nothing but betray me
deceive me
you make my family and friends cry
you sent me to rehab
you've made me see death
why do you do this to me!~

"Because you belong to me"

and that was it....

"thats it...slide me right down my slave to the blade"

This poem is rated too low... (first thought that came to my mind)

This is not quite a tradicional poem, so it becomes quite hard to comment on formal aspects... :)

the theme is something really easy to relate to... that conversation lasted two years(and a couple months) with me and i still can't be sure if it is really the end of it...

i really liked the poem... it is a very original way of relating to a quite sad subject...

This was a sad poem definatly, and I loved how the title reflected truely waht the poem was all about. I love how it was an actual conversation.. 5/5
