The Sound of Color

by StandStill   Jul 11, 2008

This rainbow's hues are getting jumbled
falling and fading into deeper shades of grey.
Ask a thousand different questions
and be shoved a little further away.

Put together this lovely puzzle
only to discover your missing a piece or three.
Incompletion, imperfection,
does it bother you like it does for me?

The clock is screaming infidelities,
every second bleeds down instantaneously.
Depth perception rocks back and fourth;
dark sky is all there is to see.

Welcome to the thunder,
the ocean hardens all around.
Joyous contradictions in this place
where all the colors scream their sound.
