Tree

by pam   Jul 11, 2008

I see trees for the forest

the winter branches map destiny

flowering as natural proceeding

rooted in dark earthy dwelling

bearing the time bark tattooing

live waiting for spring

I see a tree

its idiosyncracy and its entirety

firmly rooted in place

taking its position in the microsystem

in the forest the park or along boulevards

its shades changing in daylight in darkness

its fate dependent on nature vast

elements kind and harsh

air water rays of sunshine

days of love
