Acceptance [Thanks to CrimsonRayne]

by Mackenzie   Jul 11, 2008

I'm tired of feeling,
Un-needed, un-wanted, un-used.
I'm tired of feeling,
Broken, battered, and bruised.

Everyone I've went to,
Said they really cared.
But when I needed them the most,
Never were they there.

I'm tired of feeling,
Broken, battered and bruised.
Im tired of feeling,
Lost and confused.

There's no more truth,
Everything's a lie.
I'm trying so hard to believe,
Yet all I can do is cry.

I'm tired of feeling,
Lost and confused.
And this battle I'm fighting,
I'm surely to lose.

It's the world against me.
And I'm losing air.
It's so hard to breath,
Knowing no one is there.

But I won't give up,
I'll fight until the end.
And when I go down,
I'll go down with a grin.

I'll leave this world,
With all of it's lies.
No more Mackenzie,
And all of her cries.

Know I'm always with you,
And you I'll never forget.
I lost the battle within,
But that's something I don't regret.

There was no more truth.
Everything was a lie.
That's why I lost the battle.
Goodbye World, Goodbye.

Your poem is equally exciting and profound.
    I love your statements.

and for a name for the poem, I would say call it Acceptance.

    :( Wow! Mac!
I L O V E D how you worded everything in this poem. It shows, pain and anger, towards people leaving you in the dark. Nice job!
