I used to wish
beneath the silvery
moonlight gleam
for toys, candies
and yummy things
puffs filled with
thick whipped cream
these are the rules by which I abide...
- if wished under a full moonlight
- if wished with eyes shut tight
- if wished with all your might
wishes will be granted
tomorrow night
now all grown but I still believe
by sheer unwritten cosmic decree
celestial entities from every galaxy
will combine forces and grant to me
wishes wished for wholeheartedly
