I am...

I am the girl who everyone knows.
I'm popular yet I'm hated.
I'm envied, looked up to, and looked down on.
People talk about me, and I talk about people.
I've been in love, fallen out of love,
faked love, and made love.
I've used and I've been used.
I've cheated on tests, I've cheated on lovers,
and I have been cheated on.
I've smiled through heartaches
and I've lived through heartbreaks.
I've felt guilty, been guilty, and been wrongly accused.
I have lied and I will lie in the future.
I've told secrets and I've kept secrets.
I have secrets.
I've learned to admit my mistakes,
and I've come to terms with myself.
I've broken the law and I have sinned.
I am not a perfect person, but I am a good person.
I have hated and I've learned how to forgive.
I am drunk after two beers and a shot.
I've done crazy things for love.
I've regretted things I've done.
I have put my past behind me
and I've learned sometimes I need to let go.
I've stopped blaming others for my own faults.
I've slept with an above average number of people,
but I am still not a $lut.
I've done things I am not proud of.
I am insecure.
I've done drugs.
I've f-ked up, and I have been f-ked up.
I've spread rumors about others.
I've cried and I've made people cry.
I am an attention wh0re.
I'm a hypocrite.
& I'm a liar.
People have many different opinions of me.
& different people see different sides of me.
I don't have an explanation for most things I've done,
& I don't feel like I owe one.
I am the girl who has something in common with everyone,
because chances are, I've been there too.
I am the girl who has hated herself,
found herself,
and learned to love herself,
exactly the way I am..

    This is exceptional.

Although it has no rhyme scheme, one can immediately tell that the words are carefully thought out and well placed. It flows like a song.

I'm very impressed. I've been a fan of yours for some time now, and with this little poem, you've outdone yourself.
