If only

by timothy   Jul 12, 2008

If only
you could see
what you have done to me
the hurt deep down inside
and the tears I've cried

if only
you could awaken
and not be mistaken
from your drunken fury
and put memories in your head that aren't dark or blurry

if only
i could go
from the burden you bestow
but I'm stuck here
forever to drear

    Nice poem, great flow!

I think there was a spelling error in this stanza:

    if only
    you could awaken
    and not be mistaken
    from you drunken fury
and put memories in your head that aren't dark or blurry

Is "from you drunken fury", suppose to be "your drunken fury?"

other then that, great poem, 5/5
