I bade the stars,
To split the sun in two,
And maybe,
The chaos would reach me,
So I could consume the cancer,
Spreading though the world,
As our guiding light,
What we once called virtue,
Broke into a thousand stars,
Scattered,
Shards of memory,
In a vast black space,
Until the sun,
Hides them all,
Blinds our memory,
A liar,
Binding the truthful moon,
Showing us what we want to see yet,
Inside,
Our hearts yearn for the terrible truth,
Beyond the azure sky.
