Novus Diligo

by Amanda Rose   Jul 12, 2008

Here's to you,
who makes me smile,
that goofy face,
that drives me wild.

the beautiful heart
inside of your chest
beats so oddly
compared to the rest.

the warmth you give
is some so sweet
could defrost the Arctic's
with just his feet.

here's to you:
the keeper of my heart,
you're not just another,
so much set's you apart.

so go on forever,
or stay just a while,
you are no burden,
when making me smile.

I like this. Short and concise with a lot of meaning behind the words. It's good. 5/5
