Why am I?

by Ashley Morris   Jun 2, 2004

Why am I letting you bother me?
Why am I letting myself be angered by you?
Why in the world did you do what you did?

A million questions go through my mind.
I get no answers,
Because I don't want to deal with you.

A million thoughts cross my mind.
I entertain them all.
But they all terrify me when its you.

I dream of you ruining my life.
I dream of you always there.
I dream not getting peace.

Will you always be there?
Will you never get the hint?
Will you always push your way in?

I hate you.
I don't want you around.
I wish you would get the point.

I'm tired of telling you....
And you keep coming back.
Is there no end?

There will be.....
When your dead.

Dedicated to Lori Layfield. You know what you've done to me. That's all I need.

Hey Hun...great job!! This was a good poem! The only thing I suggest...is...since in the 5th stanza, you made it a question....I think you should have put "will you never" instead of "You'll never" because then it'll be a question. Although, it IS your poem and it is good...I'm just making a suggestion. lol. Anyways, I'm sorry and good job!! Love you bunches!!
