Her Dirty Little Secret.

by Emma   Jul 13, 2008

She looks down in fear,
Afraid of someone noticing,
Afraid of someone try to care
About her dirty little secret.

Shes not ready,
Her past haunts her, day in and day out.
People shy away from her, learning what kind of girl she really is.

No one understands the pain,
And the horrific sights
Her eyes have seen.

And the people who dont notice
And dont know,
Think shes the perfect girl, happy and without a care.

If only they knew,
She laid down at night,
A safety pin in hand.

If only they knew,
The tears she had shed,
Over one drunken memory
Of a fxcked up night.

If only they looked,
Not in disgust,
Or surprise,
But acceptance.

Because that girl at night,
Crying herself to sleep
Is what she has become.

Everyone pretends to care,
But weeks from then,
They dont even remember that she even ever told them
Her dirty little secret.
