I almost felt like an intruder when I read this poem, like I was reading, or feeling rather, something that was private. But you were too loving towards Denise with your words; it felt right. To grieve openly, and to let a great and sad poem sprout from it.
    Post another soon?

I know she sees this and is happy you are going to miss her. You penned this so well, I know your heart must be full and grieving.
What would we do if we were unable to write out how we feel? Good poem Grant and so very sorry you had to write it

Am sorry for your loss. Sometimes it takes the loss of a friend (although one of life's saddest events) to bring out the best in us all.

This Is a beautiful tribute to a true friend I am sure you and Elsie will miss for some time.
I am happy to see she has left you both with memories to cherish for a lifetime.

As with all you write it is in true poetic form from the depths of your heart 5/5 JIM

Lovely tribute you wrote here :)
I always love to read tributes not only because they show the sadness and sorrow of someone's passing but in some cases also the beautiful side of live itself. It gives you a little glimpse of how a person was. Denise must have been a great and lovely person.

    Take care
