Hurt

I was hurt but the lies you told

that I thought were true

I was hurt by being taken advantage of

cause i told you i love you

I was hurt because Lord knows

what you did when I wasn't there

but what hurts the most

is lookin back

at all the wonderful times we've shared

I hate to remember

I wish those memories could be erased

but then again I dont

cause they're the only thing

that puts a smile on my face

but sometimes they make me cry

because what we had was beautiful

Not what we once had

Is gone

and it hurts so bad

but i gotta move on
