Don't Want You Back

by Amy   Jun 2, 2004

It took a while
For me to fully see
All that you had done
To deeply hurt me.

You were the one
I loved with all my heart
And then when you left
My whole world crumbled apart.

All this time
Myself I would blame.
And all this time
All I felt was hurt and shame.

Now as I look back
Things are different in my eyes
I know it's wrong to put all on me
And that it was you who wore a disguise.

I'll always love and miss you
But I don't want you back anymore
I'll always wish for time to go back
But I've finally closed the door.
