Up Early

Have you ever got up early,when the world is half asleep,
Have you ever got up early, just to have a little peep!
At the morning sun, at the dazzling dew,
Have you ever got up early, I wonder have you?

Cos when the world is wakening to a brand new day,
Theres so much beauty on display,
That only those who seek it, will truly find
Its a tonic for the soul, and a balm for the mind.

    Oh dear you have penned such a beauty here. I love love love nature poems. This poem speaks truth also. So many times in the early morning hours I sit on my porch and listen to nature awaken, the sun hasn't made its arrival yet and the creatures are beginning to stir before daybreak and its so beautiful and amazing. Fantastic job on this dear. And as I am reading I am finding that you will definitely be a favorite of mine. You have a great way of providing the imagery I love to read in a nature poem.

    This is like you read my mind:) I get up early every morning I enjoy the quiet and the morning smells, like Jasmine and dew. They are quicky washed away once the day begins by car fumes etc haha.
    wonderful poem wonderful flow and rhyme.
