Wake The Night

by Ignoris   Jul 15, 2008

Waiting for the sun to rise
Wake the night that I despise
Watching shadows on my wall
Trying to forget it all

Songs of dark and songs of night
Blurring my so impaired sight
Stars are leering in the clouds
Glaring down without a sound

Trees are mourning in the rain
Never easing all my pain
Voices running through my mind
Listening as my thoughts unwind

Waiting for the sun to rise
Wake the night that I despise
Waiting for all sense to leave
Nothing that I can't perceive
