Boys Like Me Don't Want Girls Like You

by Dustin Cole   Jul 15, 2008

I'm a punk
I like to rock out
I'm so modest it hurts
I skateboard and act apart
I'm unique to the bone
I take responsibility
For things that I do
My clothes are simple
And are not loud

You're a prep
What I've grown to hate
In your bright chi-chi outfits
You're stuck up
And very conceited
You blame others
For mistakes you make
In your head
It's all about you
You wear stupid little press on nails
And gossip all the time
Everytime you follow the crowd
And can never make
Your own decisions

In reality that is why
Boys like me don't want girls like you

Very nice. In most situations I don't like to categorize people, because not only is it unfair to other people, but to yourself as well. On the other hand, I understand completly where you're coming from. I love the poem, it has a nice flow and a couple good rhymes. Fantastic job, 5/5!
