Stripes and Stars

Stripes and stars,
Battle wounds and scars.

Something I would never have the courage to do,
Fight for Americans like me and you.

Combat boots and camouflage,
Along with all the bullets they have to dodge.

No family around,
No lights of a beautiful town.

Friends dying everyday,
But still not missing the chance to pray.

So ready to get out of this war,
its causing our nation to be toure.

But keep on being strong,
Because Gods grace is going to bring you home!
