Always your wife

by Crystal Rose Blooming   Jul 15, 2008

As I stood in front of his cold grave
Feeling shaky and trying to be brave
With my finger I traced his first name
I still feel the fire the sweet hot flame
As A single tear fell from my eye
All the rest I have already cried
I came to talk and speak my mind
Memories flooding me there to remind
I spoke of my love and how I missed him
Trying to smile but feeling so grim
Can you see me honey and do you know
That someday soon I will have to let go
Maybe another will walk in my life
But through the years I'll still be your wife
A comforting sensation touched my skin
Looking around it must have been the wind

This poem was soo great, i had to pause for a second after reading it. it was so soft and gentle, it runs deep in the readers mind. the last line was particularly moving.
