The Storm Will Always Stay

by Tiffany Fisher   Jul 16, 2008

The pain that forms a lullaby
As you're walking down the street
Her eyes don't look haunted
But its the haunted that shell meet

The rain drops fall so slowly
As they hit the concrete ground
Her mind gone forever
Not making any sound

The clouds a blood red
That only she can see
No one knows behind that smile
Shes not what she seems to be

Her hands shake steadily
As her foot hits the grass
And her heart quickly shatters
As if made of glass

The voices in her head
Tell her to go ahead and jump
This world has nothing left
Your just a sitting stump

Why does anyone care
And if they do they do not show
What is means to be loved
Is something shell never know

She never had a friend
Who would just be there
Someone to sail the waters
Or show her that they really care

So instead she keeps her distance
And hangs tight to her blade
For the clouds are rolling in
And she isn't afraid

The scene of rocky waters
Flowing over her hair
As she struggles with the current
She'll never again get air

The lightning starts to strike
And it hits deep within her heart
This isn't even the end
It's only just the start

The feeling of loneliness
That follows her everywhere
No one understands
What its like to be there

So she wears that lovely smile
And laughs the day away
But deep inside shell always know
That storm will always stay
