Everybody dreams of fame and fortune
Everyone dreams of power and strength
Everyone dreams of their one true love
But I haven't found mine yet

There once was a time I thought I found him
I thought he was everything I could imagine
Unfortunately that's where the fairy tale ends
And now he's lost forevermore

Who knows how long it'll take me to forget
Who knows how many more memories I'll have to burn
Every morning I wake up and I hope I don't remember
But fate has never once turned my way

I dreams of a man who will make my heart beat
I dream of a man who will turn my skies blue
I dream of a man that will wipe away my tears
This man will answer my prayers

Maybe if I wish, I will meet this man one day
If I hope maybe my wish will come true
If I believe my hopes may become reality
Either way they'll be my dreams just the same
