I love this poem. I can relate to this one too. I'm sorry you're hurting inside. I read the one about how your parents fight all the time, so I'll probably say something about that one in comment to this poem. But I admire how you take care of your siblings like that. A lot of teens wouldn't do that for their siblings. They'd just care for themselves. I also take care of my little sisters when my parents get that way. One has Down's Syndrome, so I'm grateful at that moment because she doesn't understand. But I won't cry in front of my sisters either. It gets so hard to hold that smile when you just want to break down and cry though. I'm sorry things are like that for you right now. Great poem. I hope things get better for you! |
