Less a poem more a letter!

When it came to love i was always losing ground,
now the beating of my heart is the only sound,

you've changed the world that i see before me,
you're my world my everything that i need an see,

i struggle at getting this thing called love right,
i get scared then put up walls and lash out an fight,

i'm trying to change how i am because of you,
i can't bare the thought of losing you cause of what i do,

this has become less of a poem and more like a letter,
what i'm trying to say is i'm working on being me but better,

so if i shut you out and start to fight and act a fool too,
shush my mouth sit me down an tell me to talk it through,

i know i'm far from perfect but i'm working on getting closer,
i would do anything not to lose you and make you happier!!
