Cause my vision is differently
You say the people are nice and friendly
But why are there people killing and being let free?
President says "No Child Left Behind"
I see many kids wishing to be fed
Everyone could help but seems we rather want them dead
Mother nature takes her toll
Leaving so much disaster is unbelievable
So many people left on streets
Cardboard box new home dumpsters to eat
Rain as water killing animals for meat
Turning cans in just to live day by day
Still a great world? Well I have more to say
So many kids watching parents do drugs
Teeth rotting skin loosing color as there slowly dying
Come home drunk beating there children yelling for them to stop crying
Baby has broken arm new black eye
Police and neighbors asking why?
No explination
Drugs had them lost in there imagination
Many foster kids looking for a home
Wishing to be rescued so there not alone
Soldier missing loved one
Family praying for save return from above
Gangs forming around town
Innocent man robbed and gun down
So many things all so wrong
And we could have helped all along
You claim your life is so bad
So many people would give everything to have what you have
Get up take a look!
Maybe you could help catch a crook
So what will you do?
Sit around and be a selfish fool?
Or make a smile and care
Knowing you can help someone out there
Good things are to come
But tragedy will strike if nothing is done...
