Twisting... Shattering... Laughing

by Odessa   Jul 17, 2008

I walk through the woods,
With unseemly grace,
Until a hand reaches out,
And pulls me on my face.

The twisting pain in my heart,
Leaves no doubt,
Of what you took.

This shattering love,
Which can't be returned,
Hurts me more than a bullet

This laugher that surrounds me,
In this wooded corpse,
Causes confusion,
Til you arrive this melee.

I smile,
Happy to see you,
In this bitter hell.

But you trun from me,
And reach out to her.

She turns away,
To another man,
Leaving you alone with me.

You turn and look,
But all you see,
Is a disfigured ugly me.

You turn znd leave me,
Alone on this wood,
Full of evil things.

Hands grab me,
Pull me down,
Until my screams fade,
To nothing.
No more.
